Such a piercing look! A majestic animal and a beautiful shot. I really like the focus, he..err..she?.. really pops out against the grass.

no this was just a local zoo just like most images in my gallery on the DA most landscape photo's are from other countries and some eagle photo's from Canada

Excellent as always.

I was wondering how many quality images do you get compared to the total shots of the same subject? I know I don't take nearly enough, but at the same time I can only take so many before I feel compelled to move on to different subjects.

it depends ofcourse with photographing birds on 400mm maybe 3 out of 10 on better days 6 but with this photo 9 out of 10 maybe that is sharp pics and maybe one that I actually like when it comes to expression etc :) I dont do the burst thing and come home with 6gb of pics hehehhe

This picture literally took my breath away when I saw it. Those eyes are so huge and intense. Wow. Great expression. Not too many cheetah pictures it seems. This one is absolutely gorgeous. :heart:
