Who can tell this wolf the reason why he's locked up? Would you say its because you are a wolf and thats special, and would like to show you to people how you look like? Most people get nervous if you look at them to long, continue doing that and they get annoyed. If this wolf get's annoyed they say "he act aggressive and is a danger to everybody". Yup humans really know it all. A portrait of a beautiful European Wolf with a tiny bit of life glowing in his eyes, wondering what he did wrong to this world. well, It's not of what you did, it's of who you are. And this guy looking at you holding that camera takes photo's and leave to his comfortable home, and live his life and will be back next time again. Hoping you can recognize him and see him as a friend, maybe? However a friend would help you ... guess i'm not that different as everyone else....
Here in Norway the Minister of the Environment decided to kill 5 of the wolves which lived here. That's 25% of them. Now there's only 15 left. It's sad. Humans really know it all...
Wow, gorgeous photo again. And heartstriking comment, really. Makes one wonder.

'Tis sad that the animals are locked up... I went to the zoo last Tuesday with my school. The tiger was running from one end of her enclosure to the other. Though she could have gone further back where there was more room... maybe she was just trying to get the bobby barrel thing in the water...
Anyway, zoos do try to raise awareness on poaching, trade and other badness going on. They've improved heaps from the small concrete enclosures they used to have, plus they give people like you or I the chance to see the critters!
It's a two-sided thing...
That photo is amazing...! Great shot guitarjohnny!

If all my friends were to jump off a bridge, I wouldn't follow. I'd be at the bottom to catch them when they fall.
I love your comment too!

Putting animals in zoos is horrible...but it saves their lives sometimes. But do they really want to live their life in a cage? Is it worth it?
