The empty background of the shot is really effective, too, drawing the viewer's eye directly to the bird. To top it off, I think the composition is fabulous. I never even knew their eyes came in that color! I always thought they were brown or yellow, but then I've never been able to get a really good closeup like that. So gorgeous!!
And ... I think if I couldn't be a harpy-eagle, I would want a head like that. With that long thin beak and the very nice little hook on the end...
